DESCRIPTION
நிலச் சட்டம் என்பது நிலத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துதல், பிறருக்கு மாற்றுதல் அல்லது பிறரை அந்நிலத்திலிருந்து விலக்கி வைத்தல் ஆகிய உரிமைகள் தொடர்பான சட்டமாகும். பல சட்ட அதிகார வரம்புகளில், இவ்வகையான சொத்துக்கள் ‘அசையாச் சொத்து’ (real estate அல்லது real property) என்று குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன; இவை ‘அசையும் சொத்து’களிலிருந்து (personal property) வேறுபட்டவை.
